"We will cut between 1,500 and 2,000 jobs in the coming months, which means that we will have fewer colleagues not only in the coming weeks, but in the coming months," Elbrers said in a video recording posted on the company's website.
He explained that the procedures for the abolition of jobs will mainly include part-time employees and those who are close to retirement.

The Dutch airline, which merged with Air France in 2004, expected a decrease in the number of flights by 20% in March and 30% in April, at a time when flights to China and Italy were suspended due to the outbreak of the new Virus Corona.
And Air France-KLM warned on Tuesday that the spread of the virus will have an additional negative impact on its commercial operations in the coming months after the number of passengers decreased in February by about 0.5 percent.
And last month, Air France-KLM estimated that the virus would cost the company between 150 and 200 million euros until April.
