Gold prices fell on Tuesday, pressured by rising U.S. Treasury yields and oil prices, as investors awaited the minutes from the U.S. Federal Reserve's July meeting for fresh clues on the direction of monetary policy.
Spot gold fell 0.5% to $4,391.14 an ounce by 04:23 GMT, while U.S. gold futures for December delivery declined 0.6% to $4,446.70.
