Gold futures fell during the Asian session on Tuesday.

According to the Comex classification of the New York Mercantile Exchange, December gold futures were trading at USD2,618.20 per ounce at the time of writing, down 0.02%.

It was previously traded in a bearish session at USD2,617.55 per ounce. Gold may find support at USD2617.10 and resistance at USD2758.80.

The dollar index, which measures the performance of the greenback against a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.07% to trade at USD105.54.

Meanwhile on the Comex, December silver fell 0.18% to trade at USD30.56 an ounce while December copper fell 0.56% to trade at USD4.22 a pound.
