Crude oil futures rose during the Asian session on Thursday.

According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, crude oil futures for December were trading at USD58.39 per barrel at the time of writing, up 0.17%.

Crude oil traded earlier in the session at a high of USD 58.47 per barrel. It may find support at USD 58.13 and resistance at USD 61.28.

Dollar index futures, which measure the performance of the US currency against a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.02% to trade at USD99.39.

Meanwhile, on NYMEX, Brent crude for January fell 0.13% to trade at USD62.63 per barrel, while the spread between Brent and WTI crude contracts stood at USD4.24 per barrel.
