Crude oil futures fell during the Asian session on Wednesday.

According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, January crude oil futures were trading at USD69.22 per barrel at the time of writing, down 0.03%.

The price has been trading lower at USD69.17 per barrel. Crude oil may find support at USD66.53 and resistance at USD69.74.

The dollar index, which measures the performance of the greenback against a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.01% to trade at USD106.15.

Meanwhile on Nymex, Brent crude for January delivery fell 0.08% to trade at USD73.25 a barrel, while the spread between Brent and crude oil futures stood at USD4.03 a barrel.
