Crude oil futures fell during the Asian session on Tuesday.

According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, crude oil futures for January were trading at USD58.74 per barrel at the time of writing, down 0.24%.

Crude oil traded earlier in the session at a low of USD 58.70 per barrel. It may find support at USD 58.68 and resistance at USD 60.50.

Dollar index futures, which measure the performance of the US currency against a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.04% to trade at USD99.02.

Meanwhile, on NYMEX, Brent crude for February delivery fell 0.18% to trade at USD62.38 per barrel, while the spread between Brent and WTI crude futures stood at USD3.64 per barrel.
