The US Energy Information Administration showed, in a report issued yesterday, Monday, that the United States was able to lead the volume of global crude oil production for the sixth year in a row in 2023, as US oil production reached more than 12.9 million barrels per day on average during the past year.
Last December, US crude oil production hit a new record high of about 13.3 million barrels per day, and US energy showed that the United States produced unprecedentedly large quantities of crude oil and in a larger quantity compared to the rest of the world.
Moreover, the US agency ruled out the possibility that any other country would be able to produce this record level of crude oil in the near term.
It is worth noting that the US Energy Agency had previously expected a significant decline in US crude oil production during 2025, as US energy believes that the country's oil production reached its highest level ever last December.
