U.S. stock index futures were lower in pre-market trading on Wednesday, with investors eyeing the release of U.S. inflation data for October at 1:30 p.m. GMT.

Benchmark index futures recorded the following levels before the open:

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures fell to around 43,985.00 points, down 0.20%.

Nasdaq 100 futures fell about 18.50 points, to 21,171.00.

S&P 500 futures fell 0.09% to 6,007.50.

It is worth noting that US stocks closed yesterday's session, Tuesday, with all standard indices declining, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 382.15 points, closing at 43,910.98 points.

Also, the S&P 500 index recorded 5,983.99 points, down 0.29%, and the Nasdaq Composite index decreased by 0.17%, recording 21,070.79 points.
