Emirates NBD ranked 76 in the world in the classification of Brand Finance, the leading consulting and evaluation company, for the largest 500 banks in the world, published by The Banker magazine concerned with the most prominent financial institutions in the world in its February issue.

In addition to the strong presence of its brand, the bank achieved strong results during 2018, with an increase in its net profit by 20%, compared to the same period last year, to reach 10 billion dirhams, driven by higher revenues and lower cost of risks.

Emirates NBD exceeded its total assets (500) billion dirhams for the first time. The group's balance sheet remained in good standing, with capital, liquidity and credit quality stability enhanced.

It is noteworthy that the bank last year won two awards for the best bank in the Middle East and the best bank in the United Arab Emirates for the fourth year in a row, and many other awards, including the best digital bank in the Middle East.
