< Alvarez & Marshall Europe, the judicial guard appointed by the British judiciary of NMC Healthcare, announced the dismissal of the current company’s board of directors and the appointment of a new board of directors. Headed by Elie Shaheen.


According to ArabiaNet, the judicial guard said in a statement that the company's previous board of directors no longer had any powers to make decisions regarding the company's business.


Shaheen has over 25 years of experience in banking and banking, management consulting and financial restructuring of companies in Europe and the Middle East.


Earlier last week, NMC was placed under judicial custody by the British judiciary after a petition filed by Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, the largest debtor to the heavily indebted company.


"We have formed a new board of directors with extensive experience in corporate restructuring to develop stronger corporate governance standards for NMC Healthcare," said Richard Fleming, one of the designated judicial guards. The Board met to lay out details of the corporate governance platform in the group that supports the stability of the company's operations.
