The UAE Dana Gas decided to postpone the decision to sell its assets in Egypt due to the market turmoil caused by the outbreak of the Corona virus.

According to Reuters, one source said that there is no decision yet, mainly because of the global impact of the Coronavirus. But the evaluation process (of assets) is proceeding.

No date has been set for a possible sale decision, but a second source said he is on track.

Dana Gas had said in February that it had received offers from some companies for its assets in Egypt and that a final decision would be taken by the end of March.

She said: Production from Egypt fell four percent to 33 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2019 from 34 thousand and 500 barrels per day in 2018.
