The Dubai Financial Market announced today the launch of the new version of the foreign ownership page in the listed companies, providing customers with immediate data, updated automatically every two minutes during the trading session about the current ownership ratios, as well as about the shares available for foreign investment That is displayed by adding a new field to the page, as of Sunday trading session, February 17, 2019.

It included a statement that Namazion obtained a copy of, highlighting the advantages of the new page on foreign ownership, which included:
 Update the rates in the current and available boxes every two minutes during the trading hours, as they are updated every hour after the trading hours on every working day to reflect any developments that are not related to the trading activities (if any)
 Add a new field that identifies shares available for ownership other than shares that are already held.
 Reclassification of nationality categories to include three categories as follows: citizens, Gulf nationals, and foreigners, after merging the Arab category with foreigners.
 Search for historical data using company name and date.

It should be noted that the previous page of foreign ownership was witnessing a data update once daily at four in the afternoon and after the end of the trading session, and the nationality categories were divided into four categories, and its fields were previously limited to the current and permitted ownership data, and adding an available field contributes to granting investors More transparency regarding the shares available for investment along with the current ownership percentage and the maximum allowed in each company.
