Stocks in Saudi Arabia closed higher at the end of trading on Sunday, with indices rising, and gains were recorded in the agriculture and food industries, cement, media and advertising sectors.

At the close of trading in Riyadh, the Saudi general index recorded a rise of 1.09%.

Among the leading stocks on the Saudi Tadawul All Share Index today, Redan Foodstuff (TADAWUL:6012) stood out, rising 9.97% or 1.72 points to close at 18.97. Meanwhile, Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abu Moati Libraries (TADAWUL:4191) continued its upward trend, gaining 7.69% or 2.34 points to close at 32.78, while Armah Sports (TADAWUL:6022) increased by 6.69% or 4.10 points to finish at 65.35.

As for the worst performers at the close of trading, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) shares closed down 3.94%, or 0.42 points, at 10.24. Saudi Aramco Base Oils (TADAWUL:2223) shares fell 2.58%, or 3.30 points, to 124.70, while Al Moammar Information Systems (TADAWUL:7200) shares closed down 1.80%, or 5.20 points, at 284.00.

The number of top-performing stocks exceeded the number of stocks that closed lower in trading on the Saudi stock market, with 267 compared to 61, while 24 remained unchanged.

WTI crude oil futures for November delivery fell 1.73%, or $1.61, to settle at $91.26 a barrel. In other commodities trading, Brent crude oil futures for December delivery rose 0.46%, or $0.47, to $102.72 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.72%, or $30.20, to close at $4,172.10 an ounce.

The EUR/SAR pair remained stable at 0.09% and traded at 4.22, while the USD/SAR pair remained unchanged at 0.01% and reached 3.75.

Dollar index futures traded down 0.02% at 101.70.
