According to the ministry’s official account on the social networking site Twitter, today, Sunday, the memo was signed by Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, and Khaled Al-Falih, Minister of Energy Industry and mineral wealth in Saudi Arabia.
The Al-Faisaliah Solar Energy Project is the largest solar energy gathering in the Kingdom, and represents an important step in achieving the strategic goals of renewable energy in Saudi Arabia.
The project achieves the optimal utilization of energy and hydrocarbon resources in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.
