The Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal bin Fadel Al-Ibrahim, said that his country expects to achieve economic growth by 7.4% in 2022.

Al-Ibrahim added, in an interview with CNBC Arabia, that the Kingdom is focusing on non-oil activities to diversify and improve its performance.

With regard to the tourism sector, the minister pointed out that Saudi Arabia is seeking to raise the participation rate of the tourism sector from the GDP to 10% in order to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030.
