Airbus Helicopters activity increased by 19%, amounting to 1.2 billion euros, and Airbus Defense and Space activity, stabilizing at 1,202 billion, but the revenues of the first quarter were affected by the decline in the commercial aircraft division by 2 %, Or 7.6 billion euros.
Airbus delivered 122 aircraft during the season. Another sixty aircraft were manufactured during the classroom, but could not be delivered to customers due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
The net orders during this period amounted to 290 aircraft, while 58 aircraft had declined in the first semester of the year 2019. The President of the company confirmed that in the first semester, there was no cancellation (For orders) due to PCF-19.
Airbus announced, in early April, a reduction in its aircraft production rate in response to airline requests for delay in delivery.
