The decision comes after the crash of a Boeing 737 MAX aircraft of Ethiopian Airlines a week ago and the killing of 157 people on board.
Almost 5 months ago, a Lion Air plane crashed just minutes after take-off, killing 189 people.
The official Argentine agency, Tillam, said that the government's decision will be published tomorrow, Monday. The National Civil Aviation Administration has yet to respond to a request for comment. P>
Argentina's decision came days after several Arab and foreign countries announced the suspension of operation of the Boeing Max 737 with the airlines registered with them.
The Sultanate of Oman, France, Germany, Austria, Ireland, and Britain decided to prevent this type of aircraft from flying in its airspace and airports.
The UAE, Kuwait, Ethiopia, Singapore, China, Indonesia, South Korea, Mongolia, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Morocco have also announced, at previous times, the suspension of the use of this type of aircraft.
