The Russian government has expressed concern that Russian Airlines may go bankrupt due to the spread of the Corona virus.

According to ArabiaNet, these concerns come after the Russian government decided, on Monday, to temporarily suspend the entry of foreigners into its territory due to the outbreak of the Corona virus, as it will be from March 18 to May 1 next.

The government said that this suspension would not apply to truck drivers, diplomats and permanent residents of Russia.

Aeroflot Russian Airlines announced on March 6 that it will reduce flights to and from Italy, South Korea and Vietnam this month.
It stated that some flights between Moscow and Rome and Milan will be canceled from March 10 to 28.

The company attributed the reduction in the number of flights to the decline in demand.

This comes against the backdrop of the outbreak of the Corona virus, which Italy and South Korea are among the most widespread countries of the virus in the world after China, where the virus originated.
