The financial statements of the Saudi Almarai Company showed a decline in the company's profits last year (2021) by 21.2%, on an annual basis.
According to the company's results for the Saudi market (Tadawul), today, Sunday, profits last year amounted to 1.563 billion riyals, compared to profits in 2020 of 1.984 billion riyals.
The company attributed the decline in profits during the comparison years to several factors, most notably the decline in revenues due to the repercussions of the Corona pandemic (Covid-19).
At the quarterly level, the company's profits fell in the fourth quarter of last year by 14.7% to reach 286.5 million riyals, compared to 336 million riyals in the same period in 2020.
