The American company ExxonMobil intends to reduce the European workforce by up to 1600 individuals in the company's various branches by the end of 2021.

According to Reuters, the company clarified that the amount of the reduction in each country will depend on the volume of its local activity and market conditions, after the Covid-19 pandemic hit the demand for its products and after the decline in prices Raw.

Last month Exxon announced voluntary layoffs in Australia and said the job cuts would continue globally until 2021.
